Oct. 2014: Shared 500 ml swingtop bottle at local tasting, from Getränke Hoffmann, Harrislee. Amber colour, slightly off-white head. Aroma of malts and brown bread, hints of caramel. Malty flavour, not too sweet, not too dry, hints of brown bread and caramel.

A very cloudy Zwickl, medium gold in color, and topped by a huge bubbly white head. Aroma is bready with noble hop and yeast notes in the mix. Flavor is quite mild with a nice balance between the bread and the hop in the finish

Clear dark orange with white lacing foam head. Aroma and taste is normal, a good German beer. Little dissapointed in this beer, others from brewery were quite nice. (Velp 201401)

Comes out of the tap a clear, dark amber with a nice wheat head. Malty aroma has a powdery fruity overtone. Fruit, mainly apple with a little pear and a little banana and a little - cherry? - dominates the malty flavor, which is subtly sweet and has a hint of cloves. Smooth texture has firm body and a nice amount of fizz. Prosit (or prost, whatever).

Poured a hazy deep gold colored beer with a large white creamy foamy head that had a good retention. Nice lacing. Medium carbonation. The aroma is sweet malts. The flavour is a sweety malty juice with notes of fruits, orange. The palate is quite watery with a little bitterness. The finish is dry bitter and short.

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, hops and quite much earthyness. Flavour is rather sweet malts, some hops and also grassy and quite earthy. Sweetish bitter aftertaste.
