May 2016: 500 ml clear bottle, bought in London. ABV is 4.7%. Clear deep golden colour, large white head. Aroma of toffee and malts, hints of nuts. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavour has a moderate fruitiness which makes the beer very drinkable, again notes of toffee, malts and nuts. Some very moderate hops in the finish - would like some more hops, please.

500ml bottle -
Found on the shelves at Cost Plus World Market. A somewhat uninspired aroma, light caramel, light cereal notes with something close to a fresh bell pepper. Bell pepper-like flavor also shows up in the flavor, but also a good helping of caramel malts, bread with just a little black licorice. Not entirely a bad pint of beer. -

Very much a cereal grain beer, but then it does have 4 different grains in it. Light hop notes really let you experience all the grains and you can actually pick out all their flavors. Kinda gimicky, wouldn't drink it all the time but still a decent experience and not terrible flavor.

Bottled@Monks Cafe, Stockholm. Ambery copper colour, mediumsized head. Aroma is hops, fruits and wooden. Flavour is dry and sourish bitter wood. Quite grassy and bittery in the finish.

thought this one would be more complex, it was more what i’d expect of a harvest ale from a macro brewer. not bad at all, just not complex or flavorful. an easy drinking session ale at best. thin cereal.

Bottle. Orangey/yellow coloured. Moderate sized, white, foamy head, with lots of lacing. Fruit and malt aroma. Fruit and stale hops in the taste with a short bitter finish. Bit thin on the palate at the end. Not bad.
