Holy shit this beer was bad. I'm going to rate it anyway, but this bottle was horrible. It tasted like saurkraut. Broccoli and very sour citrus flavors. I'm convinced this was a bad bottle after looking at other reviews. Colour was a cloudy hazey golden colour with a very full white head.

This is a new brewery for me and I decided to pick some of there offerings up on a recent trip to a local packy in Carrollton, GA. Aroma is interesting in that it is not as banana-clovey as some German hefeweizens are and this sample offers some sour note on the nose with some strong weak malt and yeast coming through. Appearance is a golden-yellow in color when held to the light with nice cloudy notes with a full and frothy head that dissipates a little too quickly for me and is a bleach-white in color and leaves fuzzy lacing. Mouthfeel is light-bodied and smooth with some complex tartness as well as some malty character with a palate that is wet-like and clean. Flavor is some sourness as well as some tartness with not much banana esters with some sweetness with an aftertaste that is clean but a bit dull around the edges with a finish that is clean, wet, and pretty tasty with some spicey clove on the back end; decent hefe here but not as solid as one truly German in soul.

Pours a cloudy amber with a fizzy head that doesn’t last at all. The aroma is wheat and clove, but not a whole lot of banana. The flavor is fairly tart, but not in an infected way. Easy-drinking beer, but not a great hefe.
