It's Oktoberfest season and General Manager Jason Fabien (who's always has valuable input into brewery activities) suggested that we brew a "Hoptoberfest" instead. This beautiful, deep copper colored ale has the toasty malt bill of an Oktoberfest, with the tropical fruitiness of an IPA brewed with an abundance of Australian Galaxy hops. The complex interweaving of flavors is enough to satisfy with one pint, but you'll probably end up enjoying a few.

pours a deep copper color with large white head that stays for a while leaving nice lace. The aroma is mild caramel and nuts. The taste caramel and toasted fruit, then come the hops, to potent for my taste. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and amble carbonation.
