Can. Pours clear, wan yellow with a thick and frothy but effervescent white head. Aroma is crisp and malty with a subtle fruity undertone. Flavor is malty, less fruity than the aroma - nothing special, but refreshing. Texture is weak and not very fizzy. Definitely not the brightest star in Ballast Point’s constellation, but will take the edge off a hot day.

I thought this was another solid beer by Ballast Point. A well hopped lager - nice golden color, hoppy aroma. This beer is very drinkable and an outstanding alternative to mass produced lager-like beers. I loved this - will have it again.

Better than average for the style, but not good enough to transcend the style limitations. Light, crisp and clean with a sturdy grain and faint hop backbone w some light fruit in the flavor. Enjoyed, but glad I didn't get 6.

Tasted on tap at brewery during the RBSG 2008. This helles pours a light gold color from the tap. Small sized white head. The aroma is cereal grains and grassy. A medium bodied helles. The malts are cereal and grainy. The hops are spicy. Light, clean and crisp. Very Drinkable. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
