This full-bodied India Pale Ale is loaded with fresh hops for a powerful blend of citrus, pine and fruit aromas. The firm malt backbone works well with the bold hop finish that everyone expects from an IPA. BELLY UP HOP HEADS!

Solid all-around IPA. Balanced well with a smooth feel. Lower on malt and could maybe have a little more hops...but this gives it a thinner feel....probably so you can drink more of them! A clearish light orange appearance. Back Forty is a little pricey here in FL, but this is something I could return to here and there.

A bright copper-amber in color with a big frothy textured, light beige head rises robustly above. There's excellent hang time on the head. Some film, a thick cap are left behind. Citric hop and bready malt in the nose. More of the same in the tasting. Simple but a full bodied, refreshing

Aroma is SERIOUSLY hoppy, with a nice citrus undertone. Comes out of the bottle a clear, pretty amber with a fairly thick and fluffy ivory head. Heartily hoppy flavor is somewhat but not fiercely bitter and has woody, grapefruit and subtle yeasty notes. Firm texture is not too fizzy, but leaves a nice woody, hoppy, slightly fruity & yeasty finish. Rub a freckle belly!

The folks at Back Forty continue to impress. Drawn a copper-orange with a moderate white head with good retention and superior lacing. Bold citrus, piney and floral nose transitioning to the pallette. The hoppiness is backed up by a well-balanced malt. Nicely done.
