With all due respect to previous reviewers, you get what you pay for and Axe Head delivers exactly what something in this class should - a ton of alcohol and a low price. It actually pours out a decent enough straw color (if you dare to pour it in a glass). 40s should be drank directly from the bottle anyway. The taste is actually quite subdued when cold (the only way to drink something like this). Granted, there is no evidence of hops and adjuncts dominate the palate, but by the time you've drank half the 40 you won't care anyway. No need to over analyze this one - it is what it is.

What a brilliant beer! Amazing colour, great aroma, great taste, excellent mouth feel! OK, I'm lying about all of that. Orangish and thick looking brew with a huge white bubbly head and absolutely no retention. The fake sweet apple smell was a given and it came with corn and a bit of sourness. The taste was a wonderful blend of corn, alcohol, crappy sweet candy and hot emptiness. Mouth feel = bleck. Hot and syrupy. Yum. Yum.

Oh dear gawd why did you buy this Gully?! Why?! And then why did I agree to drink it?!?!? Oh ya I’m a drunk who try any beer at least once that’s why. Any way looks standard gold with a off white fluffy noisy cap not much to comment on here. Tons of apple in the aroma with tons of burning alcohol and some bleach, corn, hand soap and something that I’ll call bubble gum. I’m fairly sure you can use these fumes to dissolve paint. This taste so fake its pure overly sweet corn, hints of apple and banana and a random smattering of chemicals, luckily this is fairly mild tasting or I’m sure it would be undrinkable. Thanks again Gully for this wonderus brew I’ll have to shyt in your mail box to properly thank you.

Okay, first and for most this beer seems elusive. That being said, this MALT LIQUOR is strong as hell and is an atomic bomb in 24oz shell casing!! Aroma on this little known malt-atomic bomb-liquor is incredibly sweet with tons of alcohol and diesel coming through that burn your nose hairs and is very synthetic. Appearance, although I have always been afraid to pour the contents into a glass, most likely is a dark-piss yellow with a very soapy head on top that is bleach-white and evaporates quickly like Acetone. Mouthfeel is very dry with only adjuncts as complexity and the palate like hot oil and is very slippery. Flavor is all synthetic with tremendous sugary overtones that are extremely cloying an sweet with an aftertaste that is all very hot alcohol and has a finish that is of atomic corn malt and mutated grain. Overall, this demon is the "badest-of-the-badest" and taste like an atomic bomb in your mouth and has tons of alcohol burn but to be honest, I have drank this malt liquor more than any other to date...there is something about the high alcohol and the enduring quality of this one and by far; the strongest malt liquor I have ever had and ever will have most likely---I dare you to try this radioactive sludge!!!
