Taps coffee brown with a good tan head. Aroma features roast malt, vanilla and molasses tones. Flavor yields sweet vanilla, roast malt, molasses, and a hint of smoky hops. Mouthfeel features firm body and pleasant fizz. Anything not related to pachyderms is irrelephant!

This may be among the very best porters I've ever had. Drawn deep rich black with a tight head... the malty toasted aroma is intoxicating enough, but when you add the incredibly aromatic vanilla it is simply outstanding - an olfactory delight! Velvety smooth to the pallette, the flavors match and are complementary to the aromas. Definitely one to sip and enjoy - especially during the cooler weather. Its good to have another brewer in town that takes pride in their work - and has an excellent taproom to boot!
