Inspired by the hop crazy Americans and their quest for ever bigger and hoppier beers, this medium bodied amber ale has large amounts of hops added at every conceivable point of the brewing process. The Extra Hoppy Ale is a striking mix of American hop character with peppery citrus and spice in abundance, a medium biscuity body and bitterness aplenty.

355ml can into glass. Subdued hop nose, even a little malt present. Looks great, deep bronze beer with solid two finger white head. Light but steady carbonation. Good body, slight zing. Excellent malt taste with citric hop finish. Wow, this is good. Not trying to be an American Pale Ale (as I thought) but more a souped-up ESB. Really enjoyable.
