Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6
0.375L bottle pours with a murky dirty dark copper colored body that supported a brief off white head. The aroma offers up mainly vinegar with wafer thin clouds of sour citrus and a sense of oak. The taste is not at all Kvass like as it's straight up tartness and vinegar and really little else. If I imagine there's sourdough bread involved I can kind of taste it into the finish. I wouldn't notice it otherwise. This lacks any semblance of balance. And there were dates in this? Did someone forget to add them. No sweetness and no date notes as it end with moderate puckering tartness and a seed of disappointment.
