This Lager Pale Beer, produced by Appenzeller, is a light, mild sort of beer with a malty taste. The delicate taste of hops gives the beer a smooth bitterness. This is a fresh, clear and well-balanced beer with dry hoppines. Our Lager Pale Beer is brewed from two different sorts of malts and aromatic hops. Our mild spring water, coming up from stones of the Alps guarantees a pure and well-balanced product.

Pours a pale clear yellow color forming a nice fluffy bubbled head with good retention and some lacing. The aroma was of wweet grains, hops and lager yeasts. The taste follows the aroma consisting of sweet grains, lager yeasts and grassy hops. The mouthfeel was light body with medium to high carbonation and a very smooth mouth sensation. Aftertaste has a mild hops bitterness.

Canned (thanks KR!). Yellowish golden colour, small white fluffy white head that vanishes quite quickly. Aroma is grains, some bready malts along with slight sweetness. Flavour is quite much the same along with mild maize and starchlike sweetness.

You're immediately taken over by the skunkiness of this brew. A rare treat from a distributor at my store, pours typically bright golden colour with a medium sized white head. Taste is grainy with a hint of fruit in the finish.

"This was a really nice grainy beer. I work for a wine retailer and one of our distributors came from Switzerland and offered to bring us some rare Swiss beer. This was a great treat. It was really smooth with a mild aftertaste and good flavor."
