This was quite a tasty hefe. Not as rich a head as I have had on others, but damn near perfect in the flavor dept. A beautiful balance of bananas and cloves...each one mingling with the other to create a whole new flavor...in the same way that purple is reddish and bluish, and not a swirl of the two base colors. Unfiltered, and yeasty bits at the bottom. So good that it called my friend to my house five minutes after it was opened. How convenient to share this in an unexpected visit. A wonderful beer. I will seek out more from this brewer.

This German Hefeweizen pours a cloudy yellow gold color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is bready, yeasty, with a distinct spicy banana and clove finish. A medium bodied German Hefeweizen. Malts are fruity, sweet, bready, with a distinct banana and clove. Touch of spicy hops. Smooth taste. Nice bright carbonation. Mouthfeel is fluffy. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
