In Newfoundland Kenmount Road connects St. John's with Mount Pearl - in Alberta Kenmount Road Chocolate Stout connects Alberta with Mount Pearl. From our brewer's hometown to you. Thick and rich with overtones of Coffee and Chocolate. It is as hearty as a Jigs dinner but you can enjoy it with Alberta Beef and technically happy hour starts half an hour earlier...

Thanks Brad for the WONDERFUL beer, you ass!!! :)
Poured out zero head at all, pretty much black after the first 5mm in depth. Aroma is coffee, near burnt malts, bakers chocolate, almond, burnt sugar, stale air. Taste is right in line with a zillion other dry stouts: dark roasted malts, toffee, slight sour bitterness, chocolate powder...yawn. Fairly smooth with drying qualities. Lasting coffee / dark malt finish. Tiny amount of sediment in my glass. Chose this over Guinness? Not a chance. Punishment beer is now in stock for the Fooz table... -

Extremely dark brown body a quarter inch thick cap floats on top, lacing is ok. Aroma is mild coffee, chocolate, over all its sweet but some sour notes are detectable. There is a strange ash like bitter finish in the taste. Fairly standard tasting stout but not that high on quality. I seem to be pick up the out of place flavour of strawberry ice cream and or banana depending on the sip. Drinkable nothing offensive and I’ll buy this over Guinness because its local. Baaaa whatever I’m bored with this beer.
