On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Deep amber to brown colour, slightly hazy. Creamy off-white head. Lovely hoppy aroma, fruity notes (citrus, tropical fruits), also notes of spruce and pine. The flavour is a veritable hoppy explosion throughout, with a massive bitterness in the long aftertaste. Sufficient malty backbone. Another good one for the hopheads!

Scandanavia... So many beautiful women..... Clear copper beer with off white head, mostly small bubbles. Smells tropical and classic American Grapefruit. Some slight bitterness but mostly the hops come in the fragrance not the taste. Lively and zesty. Quality but average.

500 ml capped bottle, batch nr 281. Poured an opaque ruby-brown coloured IPA with an imposing three fingers beige thick foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of big and micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is moderate malty, moderate aromatic and floral hops, fruity, grapefruits, peaches, syrupy and spicy notes. The flavour is a solid aromatic and flowery hoppy bitterness laying on a solid malty backbone, fruity, heavy grapefruits. The mouthfeel is heavy, powerful, round and a bit oily. This medium to full bodied IPA has a lingering fruity and hoppy bitter finish. Not an explosive but a solid and powerful IPA. I like it.

Bottled@Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Danish rating #600. A bit hazy orangeish golden colour with big beige head. Aroma is floral hops along with some yeasty and quite earthy notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some fruity and flowery hops as well as some slight zest notes. Dry grassy finish. For being 7% quite mellow.

I tasted this at Mikkeller Bar on 17 January 2011. This ne'er was really bitter but smooth on the palate. It was a great imitation Americam IPA. I'm glad I got the chance to give it a try. I'd have it again.

Pours out in a cloudy amber color with a rich fluffy off-white head. Strong but unfocused hop aroma of wet grass, sweet mint, soap and pine with hints of neutral yeast and mild spices. Medium-bodied with notes of hrass, hay, rubber, mild pine and blond grapefruit. Soapy and plastic mouthfeel. Medium-bitter finish of lemon, hay, soap and wet grass. Decent IPA.
