330 ml bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Alvinne stemmed glass a merry gushing, unfiltered and opaque rich burgundy, close to black, coloured BSA with a good three fingers beige and soapy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, roasted coffee beans, yeast, heavy spicy, licorice. The flavour is roasted malts, roasted coffee beans, notes of ashes, spicy, licorice, candy sugar and dried fruits, nuts. The mouthfeel is fulled, thick and smooth, the texture is a bit oily. This medium to fukk bodied BSA has a long malty and spicy finish. Nothing very original with this Alvinne Dark but a well done job. Nice !
