Bottle @ Rootz. Light orange (although quite dark in Rootz), no foam at all. High hoppy aroma and very bitter (118 IBU). Not that great in taste. (The Hague 201512)

Interesting beer to say the least.. . when the bottle was popped, geez, this beer went everywhere! .. lots of fizzy sticky foam everywhere.. . bretty as hell!!! .. abv well masked but to thin to really enjoy.. would be better if the carbonation was dumbed down.. . It's now officially 8:01 people, let's move it!

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow dirty color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Fruity esters are easily noticeable in the aroma with some light alcohol notes also discernable. Taste is a mix between some fruity ester with some light phenols of alcohol and a light dry hoppy finish. Full body with limited filtration and good carbonation. I was expecting a bit more hops and less prominent alcohol but still very good overall.

This Belgian Strong Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 33cl bottle. Large sized white foamy head, with nice lacing and good retention. The aroma is popcorn and herbal, a touch floral hops. A medium bodied BSA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and floral. The malts are sort of overwhelmed by the hops in this beer. Its still has that Belgian quality to it, but it nearly over the top with the hops. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pretty good beer. Nice balance of the typical belgian fruityness and an unexpected hoppiness. Definitely an original flavor.
