This marzen pours a deep orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, lemony and a touch of bread. A medium to light bodied marzen. Malts are caramel and bready. Hops are earthy and floral. There is a touch of lemon and a touch of vegetative something in this beer. Not sure it’s was supposed to be there. Mostly drinkable, but a little unpleasant tasting. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and citrusy.
