After popping the cork on the large 750ml bottle, the aroma of a fairly mild ale came out. Poured a light amber color with a fairly spongy light off white head. At first taste, it was very fruity; tinning was one guests comment. There was no over hoppy bite or too malty bitterness. Very well balanced. With time, the strong fruity started to fade. Overall very good.

[BCTC 06] Poured a hazy amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of dried fruits, vanilla, oak, caramel malts, light bourbon, and toffee. Taste of nuts, more caramel malts, tart dried fruits, vanilla, and a lightly bourboned finish.
