All or Nothing Mind Over Matter Mead Braggot is a historically accurate recipe brewed in a modern facility. Made with premium Canadian grown ingredients, including 2 row barley malt, and Honey. This mead has not been infused with any additional flavours and highlights the quality of the local ingredients of honey and barley malt. The honey and malt flavors are balanced with a very light hopping process that results in a pale blonde beverage with historically accurate mild carbonation and thin, light head. This mead has light floral notes and finishes with a off-dry sweet & malty finish. This mead is best paired with delicately flavoured food so not to overwhelm the subtle character this beverage possesses. Our Mead Braggot is a modern version of the worlds oldest alcoholic beverage, and a true representation of the goodness and quality expected from products grown and made in Ontario.

    Can. Colour – clear gold with amber highlights, nice bubbly head. Aroma – sweet grains, honey, and light fruits. Mouthfeel – thin bodied, but not watery. High carbonation. Flavour – a nice balance between sweet and bitter.

    Small 296ml can from LCBO. Pours an average size foamy off-white head that sticks around for the long haul, has a pale golden appearance. Thick bubbly lace remains. Moderate carbonation. Aromas are somewhat offensive, like honey, but been on the shelf untouched for like 7 years, I don't know. A bit of yeast as well. Thankfully, flavour is not like aroma, some sweetness at first, gummy, some of the wildflower honey is still quite noticeable (this particular can was purchased over a year ago). Unfortunately, some really offensive bitterness shows up in the finish. Maybe I shouldn't have sat on this mead for so long. I will never know.

    296ml can that pours a clean golden, slightly amber colour with a frothy off-white cap, decent lasting with tiny bubble carbonation, leaving a foamy ring. Not sure if this is supposed to be sour in the nose, but it is. Like, contamination from another wild ale previously ?? Still, it works. Just no sweetness in the aromas. A little malty. The taste shows a tad sweetness, but the overall flavours are mild. Again, malty and floral from the hops. Not bad, but not what I was expecting - especially for mead.
