Purchased at Liquor Control Board of Ontario store. A lager that is like most North American yellow fizzy beers. A clear golden pour with a huge white head that disappears before your eyes. Grass and vegetables make up most of the aroma with a weak hop presence noted. The flavout is pretty skunky with plenty of metallic and acidic notes dominating any clean grain flavours.

It was serverd to me as a special beer, but there is not too much special about it. Taste is nicely bitter and somewhat high carbonated. Quick drink beer, cristal white foam.

500 ml translucent bottle. Poured a clear amber-orange coloured Pale Lager with a two fingers white pillowy creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Mid-sized carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is grainy sweety malts, corn, notes of honey. The flavour is sweety malts, corn, a hoppy touch. The mouthfeel is fizzy and thin. This light to medium bodied Pale Lager has a slight hoppy dry finish. Overall an averaging beer. Not bad but not really exiting.

not bad for a pale lager. still some sweet corn adjuctiness in there, but also some grain and light hopping detectable, and dare i say, a smidge of complexity.

Review from Feb 2007 Poured out a clear mild yellow brew with a small, foamy white cap with little retention. Smells oh so not wonderful: no lack of corn and sweetness from the bready malts. The taste wasn’t that and I pretty much chugged this back asap. Sweet mild bread, grains, some fruit as well. Bubbly in my mouth, finishes sweet but not short. It’s getting hard to keep buying these beers...

Pours a typical clear straw-yellow, like a million other lagers. Aroma is typically lagerish, crisp and malty, but gets a half point for being fairly strong and not water. Flavor is a little better than most lagers I have tried - it is malty and has just a teensy hint of fruit and a trace of hops. Texture is smooth and fizzy, not at all watery. I am no fan of lagers, but this is better than most.

Aroma is grainy with some corn and adjuncts as well as some sweetness. Appearance is a pale golden-yellow when held to the light with a fuzzy and bleach-white head on top that diminishes to a creamy, light lacing that sticks to the glass. Mouthfeel is light-bodied with not much complexity or balance with a palatte that is crisp and smooth and is typical in relation to Eastern-European swill. Flavor is of corn malt as well as malty sweet with an aftertaste that is of slight cardboard and a finish that is at least clean in body a smooth to some extent. Overall, sigh, just another pale lager from the land of Baltic Porter in Eastern Europe that has no real character whatsoever.

This is one of those beers you sample once, rate it, and never touch it again. Popping the cap emitted a very grainy, grassy aroma. It poured a nice pale gold into the glass. On the tongue it is nothing more than beer flavoured carbonated water. The taste was as grainy and grassy as the aroma. Not as bad as a Steelback, but pretty damn close.

Great beer! One of the best Pale Lagers i've ever had, this is a beer I would buy again and again. Velvety mouthfeel, sweet malty taste I just can't get enough of, and the price is good too.

The beer pours a translucent orangy-gold with a thin white head. The aroma is malty with hints of grass. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied with high carbonation. The flavour is more malt and grass.
