Very similar to pre-prohibition American beer, 961 lager has a 5.2% ABV and is characterized by its golden colour. the use of "Bottom Fermenting Yeast" at a lower temperatures makes for prononced bitterness and a floral aroma that comes from the use of North American Cascade Hops. 961 Traditional Lager takes longer to mature resulting in crisper flavours.

Poured out a hazy yellow gold brew with a good white cap and really good retention. Man, this is foul! What other beer can I say that smells like rotten dill pickle? Can’t forget the hops with some citrus qualities but what the hell? A bizarre mix of aromas with some vegetables, slight grain. Ack. Ok. These guys have tried very hard to make a west coast style beer - except they failed horribly. Citrusy hops but what is it in the water that is so putrid? Sweet malts - were the hops grown on a llamas balls? There is a bit of bitter finish. Thank God I only had to suffer through half a glass.

Beer from Lebanon?!?!?! Can’t wait!!!!!! Beer looks decent, dark brownish gold with a slight haze and a white cap that reduced down quickly. What’s that stink? Over cooked peas and carrots and dill pickle (thanks Leah). This is horrible!! Taste like sand and cooked pea’s with Dill pickle hops. The unpleasantness of the beer can’t be described. It is strange this has no Euro qualities (no skunk, or dark malt) to it at all, they tried to make an west coast style beer I think but it failed. If I’m ever offered this beer again I’ll be forced to take the bottle break it and twist the broken shards into the persons face who offered it to me.
