Our cream stout, is an indulgent beer brewed with generous amounts of English chocolate and roasted malts, as well as the traditional addition of lactose. Our stout, however, parted ways with tradition when we added over 20 pounds of Cascabel peppers to the beer. Cascabel peppers, also called Guajillo, are characterized by their earthy character and deep, smooth spiciness. The peppers were de-stemmed by hand and added to the beer post-fermentation to achieve their most potent flavor potential. They add hints of raisins and berries to the beer, as well as a subtle tingling spiciness that washes away with each gulp.

Black body with a short, dark tan cap that didn't stay for long. The aroma was sweet and malty, roasty with some chocolate, coffee, and a hint of spice. Bitterness was low to moderate overall, balanced to caramel malt back, lactose and milk chocolate, roast. Peppery spice showed up in the finish. This was balanced quite nicely so that you didn't notice it much at first, but it grew a little bit as you finished your pint. By the time I was done, the peppery character was prominent, but not overpowering.

Been wanting to try this for a while .. Pours a dark thick brown black, medium head with awesome lacing .. . dark roast, coffee, sweet chocolate, and a touch of chilli .. . an decent mouth to it, light light heat in the throat but controlled .. . Taked baby. Meet at later bar, night or day sometime.
