Comes out of the tap an opaque, rich coffee brown with a nice, fine-bubbled, light tan head that leaves some generous lacing. Smoky aroma has notes of licorice and bourbon-soaked oak. Scrumptious flavor has a roast malt core and firm notes of bourbon, wood, licorice and horehound. Downright lip-smacking, slightly sweet but not cloying.
