Chocofrut is our 5 Rabbit melding of luscious, chocolatey dark-roasted malts and the bright flavors of real fruit, for a series of beers that are creamy, fruity and ultra smooth. In the work of beer, Chocofrut is a rare confection. This Pina version uses six different malts and plenty of real pineapple puree in the fermenter.

Found this on clearance at a local grocery store. For $4.99, why not? Dark brown in color with foamy dark tan head that quickly dissipates. Minimal lacing. Aromas of dark chocolate, roasted malt and canned pineapple. Tastes as it smells with the dark chocolate and roasted malt beginning the journey with the pineapple showing up near the end, adding a mildly sweet element to the beer. Mouthfeel is full and on point for a stout. A pleasant surprise. Did some research and found that this beer usually retails for $13.99 a bottle. I guess I'll be heading back tomorrow to grab some more.
