The basis of the blueberry beer is the light "Pater", to which is added blueberry extract just before bottling, which is made by macerating real dried blueberries in alcohol solution. One hectoliter of beer needs 120 grams of dried blueberry extract. This flavoured lager has a slightly bluish color and a subtle blueberry fragrance. The beer has excellently well-balanced taste characteristics and the blueberry taste will definitively not find ghastly. It provides you with a beer taste in a completely different dimension and thanks to the bottled version you can taste it at home.

Bottled. Golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is blueberries quite much lagerish and strange. Flavour is blueberries, lager and some mild grains and some mild diacetyl. Quite nice.

500 ml bottle. Poured in the original Cerna Hora beer mug a slight hazy dark amber-chestnut with reddish tones coloured Pivo with a small one finger slight beige foamy head that had a short retention. Active carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is moderate slightly toasted malts and fruity, dark berries. The flavour is toasted malts, dark fruits, dark berries, notes of caramel and a fruity hoppy bitterness. The dark berries are always present but never overwhelming. The mouthfeel is fizzy and quite watery. This light bodied beer has a dry bitter-sweety finish. A very refreshing with an unusual tone Pivo. A surprising combination but a success.
