Clear copper color with small off white head that leaves some clinging lacing. Aromas of mango, tangerine, sweet malt and earthy hops. Mango, tangerine, grapefruit, some resinous pine with a peppery spiciness on the tongue. Crisp and refreshing, with the 8.4% abv well hidden. An interesting APA that uses Pacific Jade hops, which are new to me. 18th Street Brewing is making great strides in a variety of beer styles in an already crowded Chicagoland market (3 Floyds, Goose Island, Revolution and Pipeworks to name a few). I would recommend any of their beers in any particular style that you enjoy.
