Pours opaque coffee brown with a thick and persistent tan head. Aroma delivers roast malt, hay, molasses and earthy tones, demanding a taste. Flavor features all that the aroma promises, not as strong but still quite pleasing. Mouthfeel presents firm body, firmer than many porters I have sampled, and lively cola-like fizz. Feed the birds, tuppence a bottle! Screw the railroads in Africa and dams across the Nile.
