The beer pours a translucent dark gold colour with a frothy light tan head that lasts a few minutes. The aroma is bready malt, caramel, citrus, and pine. The smell of an early 21st Century IPA. I like that. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is burnt caramel and grains with a light bitter finish. Smells great but could taste better.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Pale golden colour, low white head. Citrussy hops in aroma and flavour. Nice and refreshing. Decent enough beer.

Tall can from LCBO. Pours an average size frothy off-white head and has a pale golden appearance. Some thick soapy lacing remains. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of tropical fruits, some hints of pineapple, some tangerine hints, a bit of yeast as well. Flavours are quite fruity, mostly of the tropical variety, lots of citrus and piney notes. Some subtle bitterness on the palate in the finish. Not bad.

Pours clear amber with a thick and fairly persistent eggshell head. Aroma offers resiny hops, fresh malt, and more than a hint of citrus. Flavor presents lively hops, fresh malt, and a citrus underpinning, not outstanding but satisfying. Mouthfeel features decent body and peppy fizz. Go the range.

Purchased in Vermont. Pours a clean golden colour with a warm cap, great retention and thick foam lacing. Nice grapefruit aromas at first with the zest and juice, but then some weird mix of rusty water and floral hints take over. The taste is bitter, sharp with the hops. The same weird ones from the nose. Not really grassy, but chemical and floral tasting. Not sure what to make of this one, but not one I would have again. Like the label though.

Clear dark yellow, white lacing foam head. Decent hoppy aroma and perfect bitter in taste. Light fruit notes. OK beer, curious now for the others in this range. (Houston 201705)

12 oz bottle. Pours clear straw gold with a big creamy white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is stinky onion and foot hops with some sweet malt.

The flavor is sweet bready caramel malt with a little fruit and a lot of stinky onion hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, I don't like the onion hops and it's too sweet. Regular Ranger was a lot better.
