2528 | Sierra Nevada Summerfest | United States | Lager | 2.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 This needs to be taken for what it is, a summer beer. Sierra lets off the hops and brews a beer for summer. Typical lager appearance with a slight lemon flavor. Not meant to be complex its a summer beer. If you dont like summer seasonals then this won't impress you. |

2533 | Mendocino Red Tail Ale | United States | Amber Ale | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 What is this? An average boring amber ale is what. Flavor is some malt but almost no hops. High enough alcohol to make it only available in liquor stores. The taste and body are lacking. I usually find this brewery at least pretty good. This is the redheaded stepchild, literalty. Decent effort. |

2539 | Amstel Light | Netherlands | Light / Lite Lager | 2.0
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 4 Better than most light beers, but what the hell does that say? Low ABV but a decent flavor for what it is. Overall the price is too much for what you get, but if you must drink a light beer this is probably a top 3. Like the top 3 janitors! |

Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 9 I had this with Westy 12. Wow! This is one excellent belgian ale. Dark and complex flavor mainly dark fruit with a slight smokey feel. It hides the high ABV well. Great for sipping. A little costy but hey life is short, so treat yourself every once in a while. |

2544 | Dogwood Breakdown IPA | United States | IPA | 3.7
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 A good IPA from this local micro brew. Aroma is citrus and pine. Flavor is a little mild for an IPA, more malt than hops. Nice sour fruit taste. This is very similar to the Britsh style IPA's more so than the West Coast hop fests. This would be a way to get someone into the IPA style with out "Stone-ing" them to death with hops. Nice one. |

2545 | Sierra Nevada Porter | United States | Porter | 3.7
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8 A black appearance with a moderate tan head. The aroma contains some coffee, chocolate, and licorice. This porter is unique in the fact I pick up on some citrus notes in it. I also detect some coffee, chocolate, and dark fruit. This porter bends itself on the hoppy side which is ok with me. Overall a great beer and easily accessible! |

2547 | EKU 28 | Germany | Eisbock | 1.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 The alcohol in this is like the Incredible Hulk, if you mess with it, it will kick your arse! This beer tastes like rum and burns so bad I mixed it with coke and put it on ice. This beer is torture and Im so happy to see its low rating. If you want to drink something that burns, just do liquor shots! |

2549 | Miller Genuine Draft | United States | Pale Lager | 2.2
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 This could be one of those sentimental biased ratings. This was all I drank in college. But for an American standard beer, its not offensive. Pissy yellow of course, little aroma, smooth "cold filtered" taste. Which basically means they filtered out any taste. A good beer for hot days or parties where slamming beer is more important than flavor. And slamming beer IS more important than flavor in college. And only college. I was a very loyal Miller drinker back then for whatever reason. Decent for a quick gas station beer run. |

2550 | Grozet Gooseberry Wheat Ale | United Kingdom | Fruit Beer | 2.0
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 This is crappy. Smells like some kind of rotten berries. Flavor is sour and very earthy and not at all pleasent. Brewed in a "traditional" fashion back when people didnt know brewing beers from a damn hole in thier head. Gooseberries? Get this junk out of my face! |
