Reddish brown appearance. Flavor is cherries, nutmeg, nuts, raisins, and chocolate. Very complex. The alcohol was covered up well by the assortment of flavors. Very good

Amber appearance. Aroma is a spicy orange. Flavor is slightly bitter with some sweet citrus notes. Creamy aftertaste. Considering the style Bells has done a fantastic job with this beer. A must for a session drinker!

Aroma is wheat and sour fruit. Apperance is a murky orange with a moderate head and excellent lacing. Flavor is sour with some oranges, pears, and bananas. A very refreshing summer beer that offers lightness along with complexity. I am impressed with Bells if they can brew a decent American Wheat! Because usually I despise this style of beer. Get out the lawnmower come June and grab this beer!

Strangely enough the Mellow Mushroom in Chattanooga, TN still has 5 of this now defunct brewery's beers on tap. I had the rare chance to sample this years seasonal winter beer. Appearance is a reddish brown. Flavor is very spicy with some dark fruit and nutmeg present in the flavor. The finish is very sweet with a slight bitterness on the tounge. Its a shame this will be my last glass of this nice winter seasonal. RIP Rocky River brewery.

A pilsener brewed at the Big River in Chattanooga, TN. Aroma is grassy and malty. Appearance is golden with a large head. Flavor is slightly bitter with a nice malt presence. A very clean and refreshing beer. As long as you aren't looking for loads of complexity, this beer will do nicely.

Appearance is a cloudy yellowish/orange. Aroma is citrusy. Flavor is slightly sour with some bananas, lemons, and oranges. Bananas are the dominate flavor however. A nice beer but I honestly dont enjoy this style of beer very much. Its alright.

Brownish/red appearance with a moderate head. Aroma is malty. Flavor is a malt punch with some caramel, prune, and raspberry flavor. The alcohol is quite noticeable and dominates the flavor. This is basically an Irish Red on stereoids. Medium bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel. A strange doppelbock but a decent beer.

Dark black appearance with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee. Flavor is creamy with a chocolate, coffee, and cappuccino flavor. The finish is mostly sweet with a hint of bitterness. My god what an awesome stout. This is very different from other stouts Ive sampled, and I am thankful for that!

A notch above many porters Ive tried. Dark black appearance. Flavor was the big 3 for porters (chocolate, coffee, roasted malt) but also smoke and licorice. Aftertaste was mostly bitter. A nice one, heck yes!

Orangish apperance. Taste was a mixture of sweet and sour. The alcohol was quite noticeable but the flavor was dominated by its sweetness. Some citrus and whiskey came through. Not one of the better barley wines out of the few I've had.

A great beer. Reddish brown appearance with a medium head and good lacing. Flavor is complex with plums, cherries, nuts, and oranges. Very malty. Too bad I can't this around these here parts

A lager very similar to a European pilsner. Golden appearance with a nice head. Flavor was slightly bitter. Very clean and refreshing. This would make an excellent session lager when you are in the mood for something lighter.

Wow! Hops, hops, and more hops! Dark orange appearance with a fair head and good lacing. Flavor was hoppy and slightly sweet with some sour citrus fruit lurking in the shadows. Full bodied and very complex.

Another winner from Cantillon! Bright red appearance. Sour cherries and granny smith apples dominate the flavor. A little more on the sweet side than the Framboise. The beer finish with a tart aftertaste. An excellent fruit lambic!

Cloudy yellow appearance. Lip pukering sour with apricots and lemons. This was my least favorite of all the Cantillons I sampled. But it is still another good lambic. Enjoyable if not great.

I was quite impressed with Max Lagers. This one sloooowly poured a dark black with a tan head. Very thick bodied. Flavor was chocolate, coffee, mocha, and oatmeal.
