Certainly not to the level of Jacobite. A good ale but highly overrated. Good malt character and full bodied. A good ale overall just not the best.

A good everyday cider. Slightly thin. Not very tart or sweet. And dangerously refreshing. You could just kill this stuff and it will creep up on your ass. bottom line - REFRESHING!

A copper color with a moderate white head. Apparently there is a recipe change since my last tasting, so I will rerate. The aroma contains some caramel, lemons, oranges, and pine. The flavor is rather hoppy but has a nice malt backbone to it. I taste some oranges, lemon peel, and a hint of caramel. The finish is slightly bitter. Overall a well balanced IPA and an excellent beer!

This is one of the foulest beers ever created. Malt liquor with an alcohol burn and only a sweet metallic corn flavor present. Even for a malt liquor this is nasty. Why do they have a blue bull and red bull version? Is this a gang color thing. Pass!!

A nice stout. Dark appearance with a beige head. Good lacing. Flavor is bitter coffee with dark chocolate. Roasted malt and hops galore. Another nicely done beer by Rogue.

Aroma is excellent. Flavor is smooth and slightly bitter with some mild fruit in the background. Creamy mouthfeel. Not as hoppy as Pilsner Urquell but very drinkable. Its about time I had the real Budweiser. Great beer.

This is crap. A horrible pissy tasting sub par American beer. Its not the worst Miller because that distinction belongs to The Beast. At least upgrade to Miller Lite or MGD if you must drink Miller crap. Blah!!!! Rerate : Ah I dont know what my deal was. This isn't too bad for swill. Some malt characteristics. Fairly unoffensive and tasteless. Good for some swill-a-thons.

#100 on this site as well! Yeah!!!!.....Re-rate since I said nothing about the beer previously. A black appearance with a tan head. The aroma is contains a good deal of coffee with some chocolate in the background. The flavor is quite roasty and bitter with some chocolate and hints of dark fruit. Overall this is alot more flavorul and complex than the regular Guinness draft. Pretty good.

Apperance is solid black. Aroma is excellent, quite similar to smelling your morning coffee. Flavor is bitter and tart. I was not expecting sourness to be present in a porter. Mostly coffee with some hints of chocolate. I'm not sure this met my high expectations and its a little bit of an odd take on a porter, but its good nonetheless.

Aroma is of pears and oranges. Pours with a large bubbly head. Flavor is spicy with some citrus fruit, mainly banana, and a slight alcohol burn. I don't enjoy these belgian blonde ales very much. Overall its ok but I prefer the Nocturnum from these guys much better. This is a so-so belgian brewery with many others at the same cost that offer so much more.

This was very similar to a brown ale, poured a brown color with little head. It did taste of raisins but not as much as expected. Palate was a little thin but still good. This is a good beer and I want to find other Dogfish Head beers!

Dark brown color similar to a brown ale. Excellent belgain. Very malty flavor but enough hops are present. This is a beer I have been overlooking for a while but Im glad I finally gave it a try. Not as complex as many, but certainly as good

Pours a cloudy yellow with a fair amount of carbonation. Some lemon and grapefruit present in the nose. A rather sour flavor with a big citrus flava mainly lemons and oranges and a bit of spice. The alcohol shows through but not too much considering the ABV. All hail the trappist monks!

I thought it was a good brown ale. I havent been to NC in almost 10 years but I may have to check out this little brewery if I go back. Overall I think its very good and would buy again

"Wow! The aroma is outstanding. Very floral and full of pears, peaches, and oranges. The appearance is a yellowish orange. The flavor is somewhat sour with a spicy citrus fruit flavor. You can hardly taste the alcohol. This beer has a very delicate flavor but even a hophead like myself can appreciate the craftsmanship of this beer. Man is this great stuff!"

This is an excellent Abbey Dubbel and may even my best yet. Aroma is chocolate and caramel. Appearance looks about like every other Dubbel Ive had, brownish/red. Flavor is chocolate, caramel, apples, oranges, complex for this style! The balance is perfect as the malt does not dominate. Palate is smooth with no evidence of the 7%. Overall its simple and to the point, no frills, but excellent all the same.

I like this beer. My first of the style. Higher alcohol content but I can hardly taste it. Aroma is of bananas but I dont taste them in the beer, thank god! Taste is very much like grapes with a hint of wheat, to me its similar to a red wine but maybe that's just me. It has a very creamy mouthfeel. This was a good choice and Im glad I gave it a shot. Try one if you havent!

Man you cant go wrong with Sam Smith's. Has that nice silky texture and beautiful head that all the other Sam Smith's have. This is easily one of my top 3 favorite breweries. A good english pale ale, balanced well, smooooth yet hoppy. Its just damn good.

A decent ale but not as good as thier IPA. Copper appearance with a faint head. Smooth finish with a a slight malt flavor and enough hops to make it slightly complex. Not a bad beer for something so widely available.

This was the first beer I ever got drunk on at age 20. Six of them and I was laughing at everything that moved. I also recall doing the Macarena at one point, well that was when it was still popular! But I puked all the next day. Overall its just your standard sweet corn tasting AB brew right on par with Bud. I can drink it but I certainly choose not to. BEWARE the penguins! They'll give you a horrible headache!

A distinct apple taste, a little sour like a Granny Smith apple would be. A decent cider with a little character! Not bad for the style.

WICKEDLY charged! Discover the RUSH of bladness. To me not even as good as Killians. This one falls flat as many of Pete's beers seem to do. Its just a beer that isnt so bad you make face, but isnt good enough to really care. I guess if you just want to drink and not think, here you go. Ahhhh Red Rush, did I just say something?

Not quite up to par with many other browns including Newcastle. With each passing year this beer gets a little less "wicked" It should now be called Pete's Docile Ale. Dark appearance, very thin palate with only a hint of that nutty taste that a true brown ale should possess. I guess considering its priced close to BMC if strapped for cash it wouldnt be a bad pick up. Its just an ok beer though.
