2401 | Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest Marzen | Germany | Marzen / Oktoberfest | 3.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Pleasent malty and bread aroma. Appearance is a reddish orange with little head. Flavor is well rounded with a slight bitterness to accompany the sweet flavor. There is some caramel and citrus in there. A little less flavor than some Marzens Ive had but a good example of the style |

2402 | St. Peters Cream Stout | United Kingdom | Chocolate Stout | 4.3
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Appearance is solid black with a nice tan head and excellent lacing. Aroma is chocolate, raisins, plums, and vanilla. Flavor is slighty sweet with a vanilla ice cream , milk chocolate, and toffee flavor. Not overly sweet but a very dairy like mouthfeel. I could really get into this one! |

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Yellow appearance with little head. Aroma is quite sour with some musk and lemons. Flavor is lemony with some sour strawberries and apricots coming through. Less sweet than many of the more mass produced fruit lambics Ive tried. Nice work! |

2408 | Dogwood Pilsner | United States | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 3.8
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 This is a pilsner? Yellow appearance with a nice head. Flavor is citrus with a hop bitterness. Very aggresive for the style, but that's a good thing. Similar to an APA and much more ass kicking power than its wimpy pilsner cousins. POW! |

2410 | Broughton Scottish Oatmeal Stout | United Kingdom | Oatmeal Stout | 2.8
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 Aroma is the best thing going here, chocolate and toffee mainly. Appearance is dark with a faint head. Flavor is watery with some sweet chocolate thrown in. This is a little too light for my liking. Watery palate. Nothing offensive in the taste, just very little taste to speak of. No "Big Willie Style" if you will. I'll pass on this in the future. |

2411 | St. Peters Old Style Porter | United Kingdom | Porter | 4.1
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9 This was much better than I expected. Dark black appearance with a tan head. Flavor is bitter with the usual roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. But some licorice notes in the taste. A very bitter aftertaste. This is one of the better examples of the usual boring style of porter. |

2412 | Burgerbrau Wolnzacher Roggenbier | Germany | Rye Beer | 3.5
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Aroma of rye bread, wheat, and citrus. Appearance is murky orange with a good head and a LOAD of sediment. Flavor is quite doughy and sour with a bit of yeast. Similar to a glass of OJ. Different in many respects. Overall an ok experience. |

2413 | Fuller's ESB | United Kingdom | Extra Special Bitter | 4.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 This is one fine beer. Even better than the 1845. Aroma is a fruit filled experience of cherries, lemons, and oranges. Flavor is slightly bitter with vanilla, oranges, chesnuts, and cherries. Mouthfeel was creamy with a bitter aftertaste. A wonderful beer by all means! |

2414 | Harviestoun Old Engine Oil | United Kingdom | Scottish Ale | 3.7
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 I find this one better than the special edition. Appearance is black with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, fruit, and charcoal. Flavor is raisins, dark malt, and charcoal again. Good stuff. And thanks again Rick James for yet another kickin' beer! |

2415 | Guinness Original (bottle) | Ireland | Dry Stout | 3.6
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Guinness is a nice brew but a little overrated. This one is the bottled version of the classic draft beer. Nothing beats a good drawn pint of Guinness for a novel pub experience. But these days there are many many better stouts out there. |

2418 | Otter Creek Stovepipe Porter | United States | Porter | 2.8
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 Dark black appearance with a decent tan head. Aroma is coffee and dark fruit. Flavor is flat and a bit off. A bitter taste with no sweetness to balance out the flavor. Burnt coffee palate similar to that last cup of coffee from a pot that has been sitting out for several hours. A little too one-dimesional to be a good porter. One of my least favorite I've had from this style. |

2419 | Saranac Black & Tan | United States | Stout | 2.6
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 A stout with training wheels. Aroma is almost non existent. Appearance is a fake looking dark color as if they used dark food coloring. Flavor is non offensive but lacking anything to talk about. Standard stout with no punch. This might be a way to ease a swill drinker into the world of "dark beer" |

2421 | Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA | United States | Strong Ale | 2.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 Yellow orange appearance with a large head. Flavor is citrusy. Some hop bitterness is present. It hides the alcohol better than I expected. Pretty good but I prefer the 90 minute. RERATE : This was terrible and defines cloying. Im not sure why I even thought it was pretty good. Syrupy garbage. |

2425 | North Coast Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout | United States | Imperial Stout | 4.3
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8 Welcome to another episode of Happy Hour. Today we are going to drink Old Rasp. Never had of these before. I did just drink a Sam Smith Impy Stout and it was delicious so I thought what the heck. I pulled out the Old Raspy Lets get this open. Ok....Kind of a neat cap. Got the old frosty pint. Wow thats dark. Hmmm.......Little bit of a head on that brown, brown, pretty foamy head. Hmmm.....Kind of a not so sweet malty kind of a smell. That's so dark I can't even see anything through that. Mmmmm nice smell to it. Kind of a not sure. Let's see what it tastes like. Wooooo! Wow! You cant definitley test the alcohol in that one. Wow! I don't know what to think about that. Let's check the bottle. We got a ABV of 9% from North Coast Brewing in Ft Bragg, CA and brewed in the style of Impy Stout. It has Russian writing on it. This beer is a left hook to my mouth. BURP. Woooo very carbonated. Strong flavor. Carbonated yet smooth feel to it. A smooth feel on the tongue. Strong! That is strong, something you know you would have with a dinner a steak dinner or a Russian style dinner. It's not so much a left hook to my mouth anymore my mouth is warming up to it. It's got some flavors I'm not familiar with going on. I guess that's a hoppy on the end. Or malty not sure. It tastes kind of like, let me try again, that's a roasted malty flavor right from the get go until the end. Strong roasty malt. That is DARK! You can't even see any light through the edges giving it a caramel color. That is used motor oil dark. BURP! I wasn't sure if I could drink the whole thing. It's not as bad as I though it was going to be. Now the Sam Smiths Impy Stout that I had earlier that was just unbelieavable I'm glad I tried it. It's definitley going to be drink all. Not that's its bad ya know I just, it's not really for me. It's a little on the strong side flavor wise might be the alcohol. You can taste it compared to other Russian Impy Stouts. As far as just a beer review of good or not, I'm gonna say this is a good beer. Uhhh I bad beer for me would be something I pour down the sink. This won't go down the sink. I'm glad I tried it though. If you've never had an Russian Impy stout get one! It's good it's just strong and I'm not too big on STRONG beers but I tried it, it was good. I recommend getting one. There ya have it! |
