750 ml bottle, from the cidery. They were really sold out of Flørt for the season, but I got this lone unlabelled bottle they had left. Clear pink to red colour, moderate carbonation, no head. Aroma of apples and morellos. Semi-dry flavour of Rubinstep apples and morellos.

330 ml bottle, as Sagene Sterk Jul, from Vinmonopolet Sauda. ABV is 6.5%. Dark brown colour, nearly black. Moderate beige head. Aroma of malts, caramel and brown bread, hints of prunes and vomit. The flavour is better than the aroma, but has the same elements, minus the vomit. Low bitterness.

440 ml can, as Hogna Rudolf Brown Ale, from Det Gode Brygg, Kvadrat. ABV is 4.5%. Reddish brown colour, large off-white head. Aroma of caramel, brittle and dark dried fruits. The flavour has the same elements, with malty and grainy notes, but is not too sweet. Dull finish, minimal hops.

Slightly hazy golden colour, pours sparkling with a shortlived white head. Lovely aroma of apples, a hint of sulphites. Pleasant flavour of apples, a slight bitterness in the finish.

Moderate carbonation in the glass, thick mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, notes of roast malts, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, orange zest, bittering hops.

Aroma of malts, dark dried fruits and brown sugar, some herbal and earthy hops too. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements, more hops than in most Belgian trappist ales. Very good beer.

440 ml can, from Être Gourmet, Belgium. ABV is 5.0%. Very dark brown to black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of malts, chocolate and mild coffee, some vinous hints too, a faint hint of smoke. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavour is slightly on the dry side, again with notes of roast malts, chocolate and mild coffee, a certain fruitiness of dark fruits (prunes, blackberries) makes the beer very drinkable, noticeable bittering hops in the finish. Easy drinking, enjoyable.
