This beer is a very dark brown in colour, almost black. The aroma is heavy on the coffee..no question what the bloodlines of this beer are. The flavour is a of a slightly sweet coffee.

Available at the Mill Street BrewPub in Toronto's Distillery district. The beer pours a red colour with a pinkish head. The aroma is primarily malty with some wheaty and raspberry tones. The flavour was malty with some thin raspberry flavouring.

Came in an undersized bottle, and with it came undersized flavour and aroma. The beer is golden yellow in colour with a white head. The aroma was slightly hoppy, although not florally hoppy. The flavour was also slightly bitter, but nothing impressive.

This beer pours a cloudy orange colour with a medium-sized head. The aroma has a slight fruit hint that is offset by some mild malt and hop tones. The flavour is well balanced with some sweet malty hints and a nice hoppy finish.

I really enjoyed this beer. It's amber in colour with a white head. The aroma is as expected with a hoppy front, and a malty back. The flavour isn't as bitter as IIPA, but the citrusy bitterness is definitely present.

This is another in a long list of orange coloured beers that I have tried through the years. The aroma is primarily hoppy, but there is some graininess. The flavour is slightly bitter, with a little spiciness, but again, there is graininess.

An interesting beer. The beer is a transparent orange with a small head. The aroma was of sweet malt and some hops. The flavour was a combination of malt, yeast, and a nice hoppy finish.

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3

This an orangy-gold beer which had a huge white head. The aroma was a mixture of roasted malt and citrusy hop tones. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with weak carbonation. The flavour was rather boring, some malty flavour up front with a weak kick of hops in the background. Not really an IPA, and certainly not much of an ambush!

This beer is aptly described as coca-cola black with a thin tan-coloured head. In fact, from a distance, it appears to be coca-cola. The aroma was very very weak. Some malt and coffee tones, but not much else. The mouthfeel was only slightly more viscous than water. The flavour was very weak with some malt hints.

I've read other reviews of this beer on other beer sites, and I don't feel so bad slamming this because everybody else has. The nut that thought of this idea should be lock-up in a jail cell full of garlic and see how long he lasts. This is a pale gold beer.....with a garlic clove on the bottom. The aroma is.....surprisingly...........heavy on the garlic. The flavour is......surprisingly.......heavy on the garlic. I have no choice but on a scale of 1 through 5, to give this 1 garlic clove!
