The beer pours a hazy/cloudy gold colour with a huge generous fluffy head that comes down quickly. The aroma is predominantly malt and yeast with some citrusy tones present as well as spice. The flavour is that of malt, with some grain and spices to round it out.

La Maudite is a dark brown beer with a tan coloured head that lasts a while. The aroma is a combination of yeasts, citrus fruits, and spices. The flavour is very similar to the aroma with the yeast and malt coming strong, but the finish is nice and spicy.

An excellent beer that pours a orange-brown colour with a large bubbly head. The aroma is a complex of malty tones, yeasty tones, and some spiciness. The flavour is very smooth and balanced between the yeasty flavour, and the fruity maltiness.

The Unibroue Trois Pistoles is one Helluva brew. This is a dark brown beer best served in a tulip glass, the head is off-white, tight, and thin. The aroma is very complex, some roasted malt, and dark fruits are offset by a slight floral hoppiness. The flavour is an explosion. The cherry maltiness comes through with a little spiciness (cloves?).

This is a beautiful looking black beer. A true stout. The aroma is rather weak, although there is some definite coffee hints. The mouthfeel is disappointing as well, weaker than a stout should be. The flavour is also somewhat watered down, matching the mouthfeel.

I was worried when I read that this was a 'flavoured' beer. It pours a golden yellow with a white head. The aroma is slightly hoppy with some definite citrus notes. The flavour was very weak, and not enjoyable.

What's with the 220ml of light beer? What's with the lack of aroma? What's with the lack of taste? The reality is.....what is with the lack of beer? Not a fan.

I really enjoyed this beer, it was a pleasant surprise. It is a pale clear gold colour with a white head. The aroma is nicely balanced between malt and hops. The hops come through in the flavour leaving a nice dry bitter finish.

I've had the opportunity to try the 2003,2004, and 2005 variations of this beer, although if truth be told, the variation between the vintages was less than I've encountered among bottles of Budweiser in the same case. The beer pours a reddish brown with a tan head. The aroma has malt up front, but a few more whiffs and you notice the extra spicy sweetness. The flavour is malty with less of spiciness found in the aroma.

This is a red beer with a frothy tan coloured head. The aroma is not very strong, but there are hints of spice and some perfumey hops. The flavour is rather bland as well. Not as bitter as I would have liked.
