I tried this beer on draught on July 11, 2012 at "C'est What" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent golden-brown colour with a thin tan head. The aroma was citrusy hops, pineapple hints and grassy malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was tropical fruit, weak grapefruit, and some caramel. -

The beer poured a nice hazy medium gold colour with a generous off-white head which lasts about an hour. The aroma is earthy must, citrusy fruit, yeast, and honey. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavor is honey, yeast, some sour grains and lots of earthiness. -

I tried this beer for Ontario Craft Beer Week. The beer poured a solid cola brown/black colour with a thin white head. Aroma was roasted malt, molasses, and anise. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, and mild carbonation. The flavour was light molasses backed up by roast coffee hints. An alright starter for the afternoon. -

The beer poured a translucent golden red with a thin white cap. The aroma was rye and weak pepper. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and mild carbonation. The flavour was grainly with weak peppery notes. Certainly not the same calibre as the Route d'Epices. -

The beer poured a hazy gold colour with a long lingering white ring. The aroma was yeast, funk, and grass. The mouthfeel was light to medium bodied, with mild carbonation. Flavour is very funky, with citrusy notes, and some grass. The yeast is far less pronounced than a true Belgian saison. -

One bar is calling this an Abbey Dubbel, another is calling it a Double IPA. I am going to go with Double IPA because otherwise, this is the most transparent and hoppiest Dubbel I've ever had.The beer poured a translucent amber colour with a long lasting light tan head. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is a sweet citrusy IPA with a huge punch of grapefruit flavour. Best beer of the afternoon. -

The beer poured a solid dark brown with a very thin head. Blueberries dominate the aroma, a good way. A little bit of sweet malt and not a lot else. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour definitely has hints of Scotch Ale in it as there is a definite molasses note, some sweet malt, graininess and a hint of blueberries. By the end of the beer, the alcohol was definitely noticeable in both the aroma and taste. -

The beer poured a translucent pale gold colour with a huge white head that dissipated within seconds. The aroma was grassy malt, metal, and weak hops. Mouthfeel was watery with mild carbonation. Flavour was grass and metal. Certainly one to avoid.
