The beer poured a translucent gold colour with a generous white head and a lot of effervescence. The aroma was grainy malt and herbal hops. Typical german pilsner aroma. The flavour was grainy malt with a bitter finish. Taste improved as the beer warmed slightly.

The beer poured a dark hazy gold colour with a thin white head. Easily the darkest hefeweizen I've seen. The aroma is weak wheat, and fruity...bananas not as pronounced as other hefes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is sweet fruit, and stale wheat. Not a great hefe by any measure.

The beer poured a hazed golden colour with a creamy snow white head that lingered. The aroma was light banana, spice, wheat and a wisp of citrus. The flavour is slightly sweet, and nicely balanced with the yeast notes and the wheat notes in harmony.

    3-pack of Hockley
The beer poured a translucent copper colour with a thin light tan head that quickly disappeared. The aroma was caramel malt, grains, and some earthy hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was primarily caramel with a definite veggy feel in the back. Not a lot of bitterness in the finish.

This beer poured a transparent golden copper colour with a very thin white head. The aroma is weak caramel malt, and weak citrus hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was bitter citrusy hops, with a hint of a sweet malt backbone. Better than a Molson macro offering.

I tried this beer on July 20, 2012 at "Bar Volo" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a very hazed golden colour with a thick creamy white head which quickly dissipated. The aroma was tart fruit, funk, and some wheat. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was tart earthiness, funk, and wheat. It truly lives up to the billing of a tart hefeweizen. Not sure I want to try another one of the style.

I tried this beer on July 20, 2012 at "Bar Volo" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a clouded golden yellow colour with a thick, long lasting rocky white head. The aroma was citrusy hops, grainy malt, and herbs and spices (I sear it was marijuana). The mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was citrusy with hints of crunchy vegetables.

I tried this beer on July 20, 2012 at "Bar Volo" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a cola black colour with a cola brown creamy head that lingered. The aroma was roasted malt, west coast hops, and some caramel notes. The mouthfeel was medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was roasted malt, citrusy hops with grapefruit notes definitely present.

The beer poured a transparent brown colour with a thin tan coloured head. The aroma was roasted malt, coffee, and nuts. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour was similar to the aroma profile with more sweetness coming through than expected.

I tried this beer on tap on July 10, 2012 at "Bar Volo" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the company of fellow beerpal Sassy. The beer poured a translucent dark red with a thin head. The aroma was weak hops, some maple notes, molasses and roast malt notes. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour tended toward the sweet side with molasses being the dominant flavour.
