Longest voluntary streak without beer...
General Beer Discussion by EAGLEFAN538
What is yours? I'm at 1.5 weeks right now. Might be the longest of the last decade for me, aside from an involuntary time w/ a short term illness. I'm considering pushing it quite a bit longer. I don't miss it as much as I thought I would.

I've been growing to appreciate the session IPA, mostly for health reasons, reduce some of the alcohol, since having IPA as a favorite style brings a decent bit of alcohol with it. Recently, I've dove as far deep as Bikini Beer by Evil Twins. It's really a reduced alcohol style at 2.7%. And, it is notably less tasty than most great IPAs. But, for the benefits and healthier drinkability, I've now got a keg of it for the start of football season. Pretty good stuff. Love my hops.

There's a none of the above, but not an all of the above? I thin each has their place. I've had wonderful beers and mediocre beers from each of those styles. Stone introduced me to my first Belgian and Black, and CaliBelgique and Sublimely Self Righteous are still among the best. 1st White was a fantastic Green Flash/Founders collab. Really dig the sessions over summer. Surprising amount of good'ns there too. Oskar Blues Gordon/Gnight is still probably my favorite red. Bring it on! I'm still waiting for a blue [:D]

+1 Session beers are one of the best trends that have happened in a long time.

Session IPA hands down. I'm really enjoying the low abv trend across the industry in general. The rest of the IPA styles on that list I pretty much avoid altogether.

Leave it alone, although the seesion versions are nice after so may high ABVs.
I went with Red IPA I seem to enjoy many of them. Session IPA I dig the attempt to tone it down vs up which was the trend most of the last 10 years. My least favorite are probably the Belgian IPAs. Some have been ok but sometimes the flavors really dont work together for me.
