Industry News by JLOZIER
At first, I thought it was an oxymoron. Here's to growth from the land down under...Texas. https://www.yahoo.com/food/mexican-craft-beer-76236053012.html

I've only had a few average beers. Most of their stuff is above average to really excellent.

Deschutes landed in oHIo last week, so I'll be looking out for it.
Well they've hit the shelves for over a month now,and a few observations. 1. Their "welcome to oHIo" special pricing was $10 a sixer, now it's up to $11 where it will remain.....guess the honeymoon is over. I see this being a very bad price point for them in this area and anticipate seeing their regulars sit around for a while. Aren't these guys the inexpensive local option out west? I was very surprised to see them $2 above normal for this market. 2. Very similar lineup to Great Lakes so far, and since they are priced higher than the local big boy it may be a tough sell for many as a regular go to offering. 3. Thanks to slowrunner I have tried a handful of their beers in the past. Current offerings in oHIo I do believe are Mirror Pond, Inversion, Black Butte, and the NWPA seasonal. All solid, but aside from the NWPA nothing that stands out from Great Lakes and many, many others. Hoping we get their specialty beers in the future.

Thanks for that update kinger. We're going to be in oHIo in a few weeks and I was thinking about picking up some Deschutes but I'll dial back my monetary expectations and pick up Fat Heads, Great Lakes, Elevator and other oHIo brews. B-E-E-R-R-U-N

I saw Fresh Squeezed at a higher price point than any of their other 6 pack beers. Time will tell. Regular pricing is 7.99-8.99 here with there usually bein sales of some sort for 6.99 or so. I hope Fresh Squeezed follows suit, but not cause its old. But ya know, for that beer, its worth 10.99 for 6.
One of these days you'll have to keep driving north by northeast and stop by for a visit........[;)]

Sixtel in hand and tapped and oh my oh my oh my! Lovely stuff. Price was fair especially this side of the country. Cheaper than anything bear republic or FW. I'm happy.
