I'm with Sudsy, I like SN Tumbler while it's around, and pumpkins are nice for novelty, but in general, autumn beers are just kinda ho-hum, something to sip until stout season, and winter warmers arrive.

Summer is generally my least favorite for seasonals. Winter easily the favorite. I like fall though, as the oktoberfests, harvest ales and pumpkin stuff roll out as the weather starts to turn.

Fall is definitely my favorite season for beers. I love a good Marzen. Hell, I love many good Marzens but I live in Portland. This is the land of fresh-hop goodness. No complaining here. Go pick hops in the Willamette and brew a beer with those hops the same day- Delish! Pumpkin, squash, bounty- tell me something else that embraces a season like fall biers do!

I would have to agree on Cigar City Good Gourd. Tried it at CraftBeerKings. One of the best. Highly recommended for this season.

Almanac's Heirloom Pumpkin Barleywine aged in brandy barrels was pretty spectacular.

here in dear ole Weed Kalifornia, we got a couple Seasonals coming out end of this month and round Turkey Murder Day. Friday we bottled an I'll Pass Always that was lagered for 9 weeks...but when the Witches' fly we will roll out a Belgian style golden ale. 5.5% abv, Trappist yeast and more agressive hop profile then our normal IPA. Our normal IPA does not share the typical over the top hop bite normal on the West Coast for IPA. the brewer and yours truly are no hop heads...how ever we got plenty cusomers who are so the Belgian Golden is for them. The REAL deal will be our Sticke/Stout aka Pimped Up Porter for TMD. I got the brewer to kick down some $$ for a liquid Alt yeast from Dussledorf, and we promptly added to much grain to the Tun, got a stuck mash, hudge mess, etc...and now we will reverment this batch with a porter we make this week...so our customers will have a most interesting and very well lagered brew wending its way into the gullets of the waiting thirsty as mentioned on Turkey Murder Day or there abouts. No pumpkin brew here merciful Gods deliver, but we do have a jalepeno ale...and this next batch will include smoked malt...for a chipolte touch to it. Stuff was first made a a joke, and now we laugh all the way to the bank, its a huge seller, why I have less the no idea... And continuing we still have the Sour Diesel lambric, and the Sterke an eight month lagered Belgian style double 9%.

Anchor Big Leaf Maple is a great fall beer. Well priced and fairly unique.
