Happy Father's Day!
Non-Beer Discussion by MWISCOUNT
To all the dads out there in BeerPal land, Happy Father's Day! The important role you are in your children's lives is your legacy. They hear your voice inside many decisions. They follow your example. They live the dreams you have for them. Your presence lives inside of your children's consciousness. Know your importance. Feel the gratitude. Watch the magnificence. We have many lives to live when you live in your children's aspirations. Feel the gratitude today and everyday. Cheers to "dadship"! Know you done good!

The Rolling Stones. Did not disappoint. Actually much better than I thought they'd be.

Nice! Firefly in Dover, DE had an early evacuation due to the system that came through.

Cracker. Same venue as with Blitzen Trapper and Carbon Leaf. A couple hundred max. Perfect.

Attempted to see Jefferson Starship saturday (7/18) night. Clear, according to the Professional Meteorologists, who were wrong. The good news: Paul Kantner is back on tour, following his heart attack. David Freiberg's voice is still pretty damn good, for a man his age. Band did a good mix of Airplane, J.Starship and Quicksilver. Vocalist, Cathy Richardson, does a remarkable job of covering Grace Slick's and Marty Balin's vocals on Airplane and early Starship tunes. The bad news: Cathy Richardson's range is limited, so she can't reach the top half of Grace Slick's range, or the top third of Marty Balin's... my ear kept trying to fill in the missing parts. The organizers pulled the plug 3 songs into the 2nd set because of the weather, just when they were really starting to cook! Hope to catch them again, later in the tour. It was fun while it lasted!
Last concert I saw was Maroon 5's! http://i.ytimg.com/vi/nn5aL1RMYeM/maxresdefault.jpg
