I give you the OMPHALOS at Delphi. The Ancient Greeks called it the Omphalos (navel) because they thought of it as the center of the world. If I'm not mistaken, it is also supposed to be the same stone that Rhea fed to Chronos instead of Zeus (not unlike a rat, Chronos was eating all his children). When Zeus and the Olympian gods defeat the Titans, Zeus rips open Chronos' stomach to free his brothers and sisters and the rock fell to earth....and there it sits, outside the Temple to Apollo at Delphi.
