I have enjoyed studying the language and culture in countries where I have lived for a month or more: Italy, Turkey, Korea, Germany, Albania, Kosovo, and Iraq. But if you don't practice, the skill fades.

If a person who speaks 2 languages is bilingual, and someone who speaks several languagea is multilingual or polylingual, what do you call one who speaks just one language? ...an American[:D]
