Sucks to be a Cowboys fan

Non-Beer Discussion by FLASHPRO

What a game, especially after the Giants came so close last week when it came down to a final second field goal. "Statistically icing the kicker doesn't work," says the announcer. Well it obviously does sometimes! Almost 1000 yards on offense for the Giants in the last two games. [8D]

As much as I hate the Cowboys, I've defended Tony Romo. Quite a bit. He is starting to make it a little hard, though. I think with the right system, but especially the right coach and owner (ie- not Jason Garret and the circus in Dallas) he'd cut down on hisind boggling game blowing mistakes. I'd say Garret needs to go, but unless they're bringing back the Tuna, it won't make any difference in Dallas. And I'm ok with that. At least Eli has the courtesy to throw 4 picks in the first half, so us fans know we don't have a chance.

Lets say you go to a job interview and everything goes very well but at the end of the interview you let out a huge fart. At that point you aren't getting the job. You have ruined everything that happened over the last hour with one huge mistake. That describes Romo, he will be good for 3.5 quarters then throw two INTs. Now it doesn't matter what happened in the first quarter or what his fantasy stats are for a Cowboy fan. "You play to win the game" - Herm Edwards Jets Coach 2002

All you need to know is that Derek Dooley is WR coach for the Dallas Cowgirls. 'Nuff said. Any idiot that would hire that idiot deserves what they get.

Fumble on the first drive. This is going to be brutal. Always dramatic, always sad.

That Eagles game was great. Reid was my easy pick for coach of the year, through 2/3 o the season, but damn, they weren't scaring anyone the 2nd half of the year.

Happy for Reid. Goes to show, it isn't hatred or discounting his coaching abilities that Philly fans were screaming for his departure. He wouldn't have done in Philly what he's done in KC. Getting a good young D and a team that needed a qb and a qb coach and a guy that can build an offense... He's that guy and will get more out of mediocrity than anyone else in the NFL. The KC D had some significant injury issues in second half and a harder schedule. I wouldn't write them off though especially with some home field games.

Gotta love how Orton stepped in, did a great job, especially the late INT at a critical moment, very Romo-esque! [B)]

Ha ! Just noticed I had some of this brew in my beer cellar tonight. Yes, I use to enjoy this beer. They disappeared, but their website is still active (showing something from 2008)... ha, ha. Cyrenaica is right, Brasseurs Illimités makes whatever they still brew nowadays. http://www.bieropholie.com
