Which style would you prefer as a Fall seasonal beer? -Pumpkin Ale -Oktoberfest/Marzen -Altbier -Brown Ale -Doppelbock -Dunkel/Dark Lager -Another style of beer -Hot chocolate, with marshmallows of course Oktoberfest and Pumpkin tend to be the most common Fall seasonal beers released, but I saw some instances of the other four styles I listed being used as well. But way too many options to list them all. So what is your favorite?

Oktoberfest hands down......tis the season. Wonderful style, great transitional brew from the hot weather refreshers to the cool weather heavy hitters. Had a bottle of Ayinger's the other night, lasted about 8.5 minutes, so damn tasty.

To me, nothing..and I mean nothing...absitively, posolutely...defines Fall than an Oktoberfest. But, as much as I adore them...I look forward to the Pumpkin beers and trying to find something better than Pumking (which hasn't happened, and I tried my hand at making one). But then, dopplebocks come in and screw up the whole scene...so...perhaps Paulaner and Southern Tier need to make an Oktoberdopple Pumpkin beer.
