308 GTi is awesome... loved it since Magnum, PI days. Had an opportunity to drive a '83 - red w/ tan leather... sweet. Sure, there are faster, better performing cars around, but damn that's a headturner, I don't care who you are. I'm still going to get a '83-'84 308 GTi one day... one day... as soon as my coffee can under the shed fills up.

I don't drive anymore, but for reasons beyond my ex-wife's comprehension (her current husband gets 'it')........I own a 1982 Ferrari 308 which I bought about a decade ago for around $20,000. It was a little rough for wear when I bought it.........but it's turned out to be a good deal............been repainted and restored and runs well.

Not hatin' the HHR... but about 4 years ago or so, I was the last guy off the plane at the rental counter and got a pink - no joke, freakin' pink - HHR... drove it for two weeks amongst the F350, Ram 3500 drivin' Oklahoma crowd. Several days into my trip, I was fumbling through the glove box... 'cause I'm just that way... and found out that it was a "Breast Cancer Awareness Edition". HTF did that find its way into a rental fleet? Wife and kids still laugh about it.

Just bought a 2015 Acura RLX Elite to replace a 2000 Cadillac Deville. This is my first Japanese car.
I sold off my mommy van in October 2011 & went without a car until August of this year. I needed a car when we moved out of the city and away from public transportation. I found a 2000 Honda CRV with high miles for super cheap on Craigslist for $2500. Put another $2500 into replacing the AC compressor, radiator fan, timing belt, various hoses/tubes/spark plugs/etc, & the catalytic converter. I had the dealer replace the windshield before I picked it up. After all of the work & tune-ups it purrs like a kitten. Even at 309K miles.
