Multiple Personality Disorder (Dissociative Identity Disorder)

Non-Beer Discussion by E

I am curious. This is such a crazy disease. What are other people’s experiences with this?

In Reply To #1 Tell me about it. When I went to Drexel in philadelphia there was this crazy guy that lived across the street from one of the dorms. He used to walk about the front porch yelling and ranting, cursing the whole time. Next day he'd be all calm and nice. he never hurt anyone but I don't know what his deal was. He was in his 30's and I think he had people there who took care of him. It was always funny to listen to, though. Oh, and then one year a frat boy shot him with a BB gun and the crazy guy sued haha.

And I had a roomate that had Internet Multiple personality disorder. He was always making different AOL names to talk to people and find out what they thought of his "other" self. Haha. He also liked to pretend he was a girl. Ah, college days.

I'm pretty sure my ex-wife has that. She'd only admit it half the time, however.

In Reply To #4 I was wondering when your ex-wife was going to be brought into this. I think she is BPD though.

In Reply To #3 Yeah, those people who go on the internet and portray two, maybe even three personalities, are just down right strange. Either its a serious problem they should get taken care of, or they really just have no life, And i'd say it's 50-50 as to why they have multiple personalities. And how bout those sick people, males in particular, who come off portraying a female.
