From Zyn, Calgary. Smallish bottle comes in a nice cardboard tube. Drop this and either make the bottle bigger or reduce the price. Don't care for wasteful packaging. This one was from Batch 003 of Spring 2012 (bought mine in June 2012). Cloudy orange pour with a modest ivory head. Nice ring, too. Aroma was generously hopped, along with citrus and pine resin. Flavour followed the same path, and this was a good thing! Exquisite buttery mouthfeel, maybe the best I've ever had in an IPA. Touch of caramel at the finish. Very well done.

Purchased at Sherbrooke in Edmonton. Pours with a thick, almost nitrogen thick head, but it was vigourously coaxed through a high straight pour. Slightly hazy, just slightly yellow colour. Hops are prevelant on the nose, and bitterness is strong on the taste. Big and floral and bright, slightly grapey and slightly wine like. Tons of grapefruit. Instantly salivating everywhere! Slightly heavy in the mouth which draws away from the nice lightness of the nose. Really impressive that a brewery on the edge of the planet in a place with no craft beer culture could produce a style and beer of this calibre, keep it up!
