This is not a sweet, malty Märzen (though we love those too!). We start with a simple yet robust grain bill. Featuring all German heritage floor malted grains, specifically Barke Pilsner, Barke Vienna & Barke Munich malts. Hopped in the kettle with a moderate bittering addition of Hallertau Mittlefruh, then we give it a touch of Mandarina Bavaria right at the end of the boil. The beer was fermented low and slow with our house German lager yeast for many weeks
