Pours a rich chocolate brown that let’s daylight through only at the bottom. Malty, chocolaty aroma had an overtone of bourbon-soaked oak. Delightful flavor bursts with bourbon, caramel, oak, roast malt and horehound. It is sweet but not cloying. Firm texture has fizz to spare. In days of old when knights were bold, monks brewed beer to serve as liquid bread. This is truly the staff of life in a glass.
